Disability North is a registered charity (no. 514733) promoting inclusion, independence and choice for disabled people and their families by providing information, advice and support on any aspect of disability. Services are also provided for students or professionals working in the statutory, voluntary and the public sector. We are a user-led charity with a constitutional majority of disabled people on our executive committee. The needs of disabled people, older adults and their families are at the heart of our services and our free, impartial advice empowers them to make informed decisions, maximising the control they have over their own lives.
